    I have been a faculty member at DeVry University since 2002.

    I facilitate classes in information technology, business, and statistics at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. My education includes a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina (Business-Quantitative Methods), an M.B.A. (Computer Science) and B.B.A. (Accounting) both from Texas A&M University.

    Besides DeVry, I have held a faculty position at Baylor College of Medicine for seven years where I taught statistics, biostatistics and operations research. I also taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix for four years and received an outstanding faculty award two times.

    My business experience includes eight years as a CIO, seven years as a CFO, and ten years as a consultant where I provided consulting services for small companies in the areas of information technology, finance, and management and assisted several entrepreneurs in growing their companies from small start ups to sizes large enough to be acquired by publicly traded corporations.

    My programming experience over the past 20 years has focused on using the PC to solve business problems. For the past ten years I have been developing e-business applications for small and large enterprises using the Microsoft stack of IIS, ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server.
